Leandrita Ortega
Dr. Ortega was born in New York and spent most of her childhood in the “Land of Enchantment”, otherwise known as New Mexico. She completed her undergraduate training at Mount Saint Mary’s College in Los Angeles, CA, in 1995 then went on to complete medical school at the University of New Mexico in 2003. Following medical school, she underwent three years of residency training in Family Medicine through the In His Image Family Medicine residency in Tulsa, OK.
Dr. Ortega has been married to her husband, Richard, since 1996 and they have three children, Jordan, Jazlyn, and Elias. The family moved to Ada in 2006 to begin the medical practice. Dr. Ortega is an active member of her church and enjoys exercise and reading for fun when she has a few moments to herself.
